OUR SERVICES
Goddess Boudoir offers an intimate, empowering boudoir experience designed to help women reconnect with their confidence, celebrate their sensuality, and embrace their magic.
Select sessions include professional hair, makeup, and use of the client closet when noted in your package or invoice.
Occasional limited-edition sessions, giveaways, or special offers may be available.
While no purchase is necessary to enter a giveaway, standard retainers and product minimums apply once a date is booked or scheduled outside the giveaway context.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Clients must be 18 years of age or older — no exceptions.
Guests are not permitted during sessions to maintain comfort and privacy.
SESSION FEES & PAYMENTS
A non-refundable retainer of $250 is required to reserve your date.
This retainer secures your spot and covers the time and preparation invested before your session.
It is non-transferable and non-refundable.
All artwork, albums, and digital files are purchased separately during your Reveal & Ordering Appointment.
Products and images start at $1,500. This is the base minimum for all bookings, including those secured through giveaways, promotions, or VIP offers.
Payment Details
- A valid credit card must remain on file for cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, and any outstanding balances.
- Two valid cards may be required for payment plans.
- Payment plans are processed as Gift Certificate purchases under Canadian law. These are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
- Payments may be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Any payment returned NSF will incur a $50 fee, billed separately to the card on file.
If three (3) consecutive payments fail, the session will be cancelled immediately, all monies prepaid will be forfeited to Goddess Boudoir / April Eason Photography, and the Cancellation Policy (below) will apply with a $500 charge to the client’s credit card on file.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If the client chooses to cancel this agreement, a $500 cancellation fee applies in addition to forfeiture of the non-refundable $250 retainer.
Written confirmation is required; a cancellation contract will be emailed for signature before the session can be officially cancelled and no further fees incurred.
The photographer reserves the right to cancel at any time at her discretion.
If the photographer cancels, all monies paid — including the retainer — will be refunded in full within 14 business days.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
There is a $150 rescheduling fee to change the agreed-upon session date.
Clients are responsible for confirming availability before signing this agreement.
Payment of the fee is due upon booking the new date.
If the client chooses to reschedule the session date, a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is required to transfer the retainer to a new date, which must be agreed upon with the photographer within 1 week of notice.
Illness or Emergency
It is against studio policy for anyone unwell within 48 hours of the session to attend. Please rest and recover before arriving.
If illness or emergency (with proof, e.g., doctor’s note) prevents attendance, the photographer may permit rescheduling without a fee or forfeiture of the retainer, at their discretion.
A minimum of 2 hours’ notice is required; otherwise a no-show fee applies.
Approved reschedules will occur within 4 weeks of the original date based on studio availability.
Reschedule Limits
A maximum of two (2) reschedules is allowed.
Failure to attend the second rescheduled session will result in cancellation and a $500 cancellation fee.
No refunds will be issued; however, the client will receive a studio credit (minus the retainer and cancellation fee) for future use.
REVEAL & ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Your Reveal & Ordering Appointment occurs immediately after your session or within 14 days.
Failure to attend within that time will result in permanent deletion of images without refund.
Each reschedule of this appointment incurs a $125 fee.
All unpurchased images may be deleted immediately, and purchased images may be deleted after 30 days from final delivery.
SESSION EXPECTATIONS
Sessions may run up to 6 hours, including prep, hair & makeup, styling, photography and gallery reveal if provided same day.
Please Note
Arrival 20+ minutes late → cancellation or $500 reschedule fee.
Clients must arrive sober — no alcohol or drugs.
Hair & makeup clients must arrive with clean, dry hair and no makeup. Wet hair → $200 fee.
Spray tans are not permitted. Corrections billed $25–$30 per image.
All posing, wardrobe, and creative elements are directed by the photographer’s professional judgment.
PRODUCTS, EDITING & RETOUCHING
Products and images start at $1,500.
No digital or printed products are included with the Session Fee.
Once designs or orders are paid, all sales are final — no refunds, changes, or exchanges.
Standard retouching includes minor skin smoothing and blemish removal.
Advanced edits (spray-tan correction, color matching, body contouring) → $25–$30 per image.
RAW files and unedited proofs are never released or sold.
COMPLETION & DELIVERY
Printed products and albums require up to 8 weeks for production and delivery.
Rush orders incur a 10 % surcharge.
The studio is not liable for manufacturer or shipping delays.
Purchased digital files may be deleted 30 days after final delivery and cannot be recovered.
Please ensure you download your purchased Digital Images within 1 week of receiving your gallery link.
COPYRIGHT & USAGE
All images are copyrighted works owned by Goddess Boudoir/ April Eason Photography.
Clients receive personal-use rights only (printing and private sharing).
Please tag @goddessboudoiryyc when sharing on instagram and @goddessboudoir on Facebook.
A separate Model Release determines whether images may be used for marketing.
Images may not be cropped, filtered, sold, or submitted without permission.
PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
All client data, contracts, and images are confidential.
Marketing consent may be revoked with 90 days’ written notice.
Once images are publicly shared with permission, the studio cannot control third-party reposting.
LIABILITY & RELEASE
By booking, the client acknowledges boudoir photography involves voluntary posing and movement.
Clients release Goddess Boudoir / April Eason Photography from liability for:
Personal injury, illness, or emotional distress
Property damage or loss
Travel or transport risks
Manufacturing or delivery delays
Clients must back up digital files after delivery within 1 week; long-term storage is not guaranteed.
REFUNDS & NON-DISPARAGEMENT
All sales are final.
If a discretionary refund is issued, the client agrees not to publish negative or defamatory content about Goddess Boudoir / April Eason Photography. Breach may result in legal action.
FORCE MAJEURE
The studio is not liable for service failure due to circumstances beyond control (illness, emergencies, weather, disasters, etc.).
In such cases, a full session credit will be issued, valid for 6 months. No refund will be issued under any circumstances.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
All promotions and contests comply with Canadian regulations.
Correspondence Clause
All official communication, notices, and updates between the Client and {{brand.name}} / April Eason Photography shall be made in writing via email or through the studio’s designated communication platform.
The Client agrees that email correspondence is legally binding and serves as written confirmation of any session changes, reschedules, approvals, or agreements made after this contract is signed.
The Client is responsible for ensuring their email address on file is accurate and monitored. The Photographer is not liable for missed communications due to outdated contact information, spam filtering, or failure to respond.
The Client must respond to all studio correspondence within 7 business days.
If no response is received within that period, the session will be considered inactive, and the studio’s Cancellation Policywill automatically take effect after the 7-day window. All monies paid, including retainers and prepayments, will be forfeited in accordance with that policy.
AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By booking a session, signing this contract, or paying a retainer, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.
These terms align with the full Boudoir Session Contract you will receive before your session.
